Korean Telcos Boost Mobile Service on Dokdo
On Korea’s Dokdo islets, it’s now possible for more than 400 people to use their cellphones at once. This was made possible by two new antennas installed by cellular providers SK Telecom and KTF.

Providing stable mobile phone service on the East Sea islets, home to just three year-round residents, also serves as a symbolic gesture to promote Korea’s sovereignty over the territory, which Japan claims as its own.
